Silica

Silicon dioxide, also known as silica, is an oxide of silicon. Silica is one of the most versatile and complex minerals in existence. It is used in structural materials, microelectronics, and as ingredient in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Silica products are used as carriers to convert liquids into free-flowing dry powders and premixes for animal feed applications. Using silica not only  enables high consistent loading of ingredients and additives into animal feed, it also lowers costs for manufacturers by enabling more efficient blending and processing.

Silica can also be used as a anti-caking agent in premixes, enabling better free-flowing properties of existing formulations.
