Antioxidants

Just like oxidation can deteriorate the quality of metal through rusting, oxidation can also occur in food and feed products. The oxidation that occurs destroys valuable minerals, fats, and amino acids. All critical to healthy growth and sustainability of livestock and other living organisms.

Adding antioxidants into feed mixtures ensures the stability of the ingredients and subsequently avoids any sort of accidental and unfavorable deficiencies.

Common feed antioxidants used are Ethoxyquin, Butylated Hydroxyanisole (BHA), and Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT).
