Sucralose

Sucralose is a artificial sweetener that is often used as a sugar substitute.  It is a approved food additive carrying the E number of E955.

As a sweeter alternative to Sucrose, Aspartame, Acesulfame Potassium, and Sodium Saccharin it is often preferable used in various food applications. It also benefits from not sufficiently being broken down by the human body, so it is almost noncaloric. 

Sucralose can be used in candy, beverages, packaged fruits, and bakery products
