Acidifiers

Making sure that livestock have a healthy digestive system and free from diseases are critical in the feed industry. Whilst the usage of antibiotics in animal feed for these purposes was common, their usage is becoming unpopular. Many countries and regions have already banned antibiotics in most feed additives.

Acidifiers have become a viable alternative. Not only do acidifiers improve the digestion and absorbtion of minerals, they place an active role in the digestive tract health of animals. They manipulate the intestinal microbial populations resulting in significant improvement in the immune response capabilities.

Acidifiers are most widespread in the poultry and swine production, but also are used for other livestock farming.
